If you’re really looking to escape from it all, then our tranquil day trip to the village and waterfall of Yelapa and waters of Majahuitas cove are an absolute must. With emerald waters and a pristine golden sand beach, these remote coves are ideal for snorkeling, swimming and kayaking and provide the perfect backdrop to explore Banderas Bay’s secret hideaways.

Morning in Majahuitas

Morning is spent in the waters of the peaceful and isolated cove of Majahuitas. Situated on the southern coast of the bay, in an area of raw natural beauty, Majahuitas is simply stunning. This virgin, reef-filled coastline is accessible only by boat, making it one of the most desirable spots in the bay for kayaking and snorkeling.

Afternoon in Yelapa

After lunch aboard our luxury catamaran, we head towards the charming, traditional fishing village of Yelapa. Nestled in a stunning natural cove, this tiny community is free of any roads and surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. Hike through town to the Cola de Caballo waterfalls and go for a swim in its refreshing waters that vary in flow throughout the year. Kick-back and bury your toes in the sand at Yelapa’s expansive beach; you’ll be struck by the idyllic beauty of this tropical paradise.

Onboard Entertainment

As we cruise back to Puerta Vallarta with an open bar and onboard fiesta, we’ll wrap up a perfect day with some great music, dancing and unforgettable entertainment from the Vallarta Adventure crew – and some guests too, of course!
